Production Notes
Director's Notes
Congratulations to Charlie Brown and the PEANUTS gang. October, 2000, commemorates the 50th anniversary
of the creation of the world-wide loved comic strip PEANUTS, by Charles M. Schulz. Several years
after the creation of PEANUTS, using actual comic strips combined with Clark Gesner's album of PEANUTS
character songs, You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown opened off-Broadway in March of 1967. The musical was an immediate hit.

February of 1999 saw the return of Charlie Brown and the gang, with a new prodcution rewritten
and revived for the Broadway stage, without losing the integrity or heart of the show. You're
a Good Man, Charlie Brown has become one of the most produced musicals in history. It is filled with
charm, humor, joy, trials, tribulations and a whole lot of happiness. I am honored to be a part of this
wonderful musical, and pleased to be able to share it with you. Thank you for joining us on this musical
journey as we discover what it means to be a 'good man' and the true meaning of happiness.
