From prominent Asian playwright Chay Yew comes this poignant and provocative masterpiece about men in love. A Wonderfully simple yet beautifully complex exploration of the nature of desire, sexuality and self-definition as seen through the lives of the four gay men. ReAct is excited to encore our sell-out hit Northwest premiere production of YELLOW FACE by David Henry Hwang. DRIVING MISS DAISY
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a Broadway smash last season, ReAct is delighted to present a new local production of DRIVING MISS DAISY by Alfred Uhry. This timeless and beloved American play tells the affecting story of the decades-long relationship between a stubborn Jewish matriarch and her compassionate African American chauffeur. Their iconic tale of pride, changing times and the transformative power of friendship has entertained and warmed the hearts of millions. - Richard Hugo House - August 3 - 25, 2012.

ReAct's 13th Annual Staged Play Reading Series co-presented with the Elliott Bay Book Company includes an exciting mix of new hits and stage classics. Included among the plays we're presenting and considering will be special celebratory stagings of UNCLE HIDEKI and UNCLE HIDEKI & THE EMPTY NEST by Jean Davies Okimoto, in honor of ReAct company member and community activist Herb Tsuchiya's 80th Birthday.
