Artist's Bio
Serin started her Seattle acting career by
joining the (now defunct) Asian American sketch comedy troupe,
OPM. While at the University of Washington, she took numerous
drama classes while finishing a degree in English. Since her Seattle debut, she has performed
in a score of other shows including Suburbia, Barking Wall,
West Side Story, and The Importance of Being Earnest.
She is the writer and producer of Sex
in Seattle, an episodic theatre show, where she also plays
one of the starring roles.
Beyond the theatre, Serin has performed in
a variety of films, including Sour Apple Freeze-Pop and Uniforms.
She also starred in a Big Sisters commercial, and during the
Seattle Mariners Fan Appreciation Day 2000, she was stuffed
into a giant Pikachu (from Pokemon) costume to entertain the
kids...and adults.
