Artist's Bio
Rachel found her love of the arts at an early age, singing with her family
and dancing around the living room. Her official theatrical debut was as a
postulant in Seattle Performing Arts Fellowship's production of The Sound of
Music in the fall of 1988. Over the next six years, she explored various
aspects of the theatre, including performing, choreographing, costuming, stage
managing, and props design.
In 1995 she moved to Bellingham where she received a B.A. in Theatre Arts at
Western Washington University. After that it didn't take long for her to become
heavily involved in the Seattle theatre scene as an actor, stage manager,
director, and music director.
Among Rachel's favorite roles are: Chiffon in Little Shop of Horrors, Karen
Daniels in Rehearsal For Murder, Connie Wong in A Chorus Line, Yente in
Fiddler On The Roof, Phoebe Reece in The Farndale Avenue...'A Christmas
Carol', and most recently Maria Merelli in Lend Me A Tenor.
